Hello, its been a while, i've been pretty busy lately with all my college work, ucas crap, and going to Barcelona so excuse for the lack of updates, that and i go through periods of being really uninspired to do anything.

Well i think im finally back on track, see i've kinda avoided doing fashion photography because i can paint n draw n sew n crap so i was all why just stick to one? but being decent at those things isnt enough and i realise the only inspiring thing for me is photography, or more fashion photography. So ive decided that even tho im budget and dont know anyone freakishly tall and hot im still gonna go ahead and hopefully produce some interesting shots for my portfolio to show some potential, because ive honestly not done anything worthwhile on this dang foundation course that im proud of.

much aside i hate studio photography, so im gonna grab my girl kaishia and hit up some lonely streets particularly those with interesting angles and buildings. I dont have a written concept for it yet, but fuck it, i just wanna take pretty pictures.

For the outfit, a while back we made these fake bodice pieces to attach stupid pieces of paper on to, i made mine more into a sorta super hero thing with shoulder pointy things and wings, but ive dragged it back up and taken off the wings and cut through the middle of the bodice so kaishia can wear it, oh and cut holes down the centre for fastening, its all basic and made out of paper at the moment, so i want to get ahold of some matte black spray, or maybe gloss, not sure yet and spray the whole thing black, then perhaps some holographic silver paper to cover the shoulder spikes with. Then underneath the bodice im just gonna get a couple metres of fabric and drape that around kaish, i could just be cheap and buy that satin polyester blend stuff, it should photograph nicely but im thinking perhaps a sorta shiny mesh layer on top of that? unclear. anyways i was bored in college the other day so i took said bodice and random disgraceful fabric and piled it onto Sanam, then went around college to do a few test pictures,

I think theres some potential in it, i dont know how good a job im gonna do at making the whole outfit, but i like the thought that when its finished i know that i put all the work in, im not just the photographer photographing someones designs, yagetme. 

 

and then with the whole angles thing im thinking for presentation i might do alot of doubles. also you can clearly see how terrible the material is in that colour photo, it all needs alot of work, but im inspired at the moment, and thats all that matters.

For kaishias make-up ill be using lots of black around the brow and top lip, and then i want to learn how to do that fantasy irrescent makeup and put that above kaishias brow and on her cheekbones, picture illustrates just that:

im not sure what to do with Kaishias hair yet, so if you have any ideas for it, or generally just for the entire shoot, hit me up fam.
